Most of us could probably easily do four each for sci-fi, fantasy, comics, RPGs, video games, anime, space, science, etc. So I went with the easiest picks from RPGs, sci-fi, fantasy, and comics.
This is basically my take as well. Literal theater kids, goths, fans of vampires, Anne Rice readers, etc.
Early on there was a clear split between those who were gamers before and those who started gaming with VtM. The gamers played it as superheroes with fangs and those new to the hobby...
In my area, Vampire: The Masquerade was every bit the seismic shift White Wolf and their documentary want you to believe. The only thing comparable is D&D 5E. Not to that scale of course, but certainly to that extent.
I was in high school. Playing RPGs with friends. They’d all moved beyond D&D...
So wild. You’re still not the person from your company who should be chatting with people online. I wonder how many more sales you’ve cost your company than just mine. And yes, fans have been collating their own info and stories from beloved franchises for RPGs since long before you and will...
I'm inherently insatiably curious so want to know what's up, but it's none of my business. I feel a bit okay wondering because Kelsey's putting it out there. Unless they're both going to carry a baby, I'm not sure why they'd both need medical intervention prior to having a kid or kids. Are they...
It was a great, fun movie. But I love the goofy and comedic stuff. Same reason I like Guardians of the Galaxy. It doesn't take itself too seriously and leans in to the inherently goofy nature of superheroes and comic books. I love that.
Tales to Astonish is one of the better tracks off the...
Considering all that, it always felt like maybe Rosalind Chao, the actress playing Keiko, wasn’t interested in much more of a role. The writers could clearly do a lot better. They made characters with even less screen time far more interesting.
Fewer pointless rolls is always good.
Another way to got is treat the roll as a save, effectively. You automatically succeed, now roll to see if there are complications or consequences.
All great suggestions so far. I'd point you to maps of the world. Specifically this site.

And the corresponding section on Vaults.

My favorites are the marked maps. The cartographer put the locations (or best guesses) of the various modules...
Who’s “they” here? Darrington? Sure, that would get side eye. But free fan content is obviously okay. Todd, of course he could. Keith, of course he could. Keith’s blog and podcast have done conversions for other systems before.
I was all excited thinking it would be about playing Daggerheart in Eberron. It's not. It's a generic chat with Keith Baker and both Eberron and Daggerheart are mentioned. Not sure if it technically counts as clickbait, but sure feel like clickbait.
A very large part of it for me is even simpler that all that. It just takes too long to resolve most elements of the game mechanics. Multiply that by however many players plus the referee running monsters and you quickly find yourself sitting there, bored and waiting 20-30 minutes between turns...
