Also of note: In addition to the paladin’s (the other PHB half-caster) more numerous spells available on any given day (because of the bonus oath spells), the paladin prepares their spells daily, giving them much more versatility. And if that wasn’t enough of a boost in utility, they also have a...

D&D 5E (2014) So one of the players made a ranger...

If you want to save yourself (and the player) the headache of having to pick the correct favored enemies and terrain, I’d suggest allowing the player to switch them out with a little bit of (in-game) time and study. I’d think a long rest would be good for a hexcrawl, but maybe longer if you...

    What If...?

Which may be true with MCU Hulk anyway. None of that would prevent what we saw happen to him in the episode and, if he could fully regenerate from a single cell or collection thereof (his enlarged blood and heart cells should still be around, after all), surely that would “take a while to recover.”

    What If...?

What’s regeneration going to do when every single capillary gets pumped full of blood cells that are orders of magnitude too large? In a heartbeat.

    What If...?

Isn’t deep analysis a hallmark of comic-book culture, though? And all geek-culture, really?

    What If...?

If it was just the heart growing, I don’t think he would have essentially disintegrated. He might still have burst, depending on the size of the heart, but there should have been pieces left. Including the heart.

    What If...?

The hulk burst really reminds me of the kinds of hypothetical scenarios I’d discuss with my geek-friends back in the day. Usually starting with, “ Who would win…”

    What If...?

As well as, importantly, all of the blood inside of it at the time.

    IRON DM 2021 Tournament

Pro tip: Making th’entry harder t’read s’not always th’bestapproach. Judges have to read these things multiple times. Making that a fatiguing process is not wise.

    What If...?

Well, yeah, their usually will be a maintenance employee (although not on all shifts). And if the store runs lean on staff, that maintenance employee may pull other duties as needed (even cooking or register, if they’ve got the training from holding other positions prior). Of course, these...

    IRON DM 2021 Tournament

Asuming this is serious – which is not clearly the case – it’s really too late for alternates (even if we had one ready to go). But I have faith in your ability to come up with something. And, if you really want to gamble, you can certainly ignore an ingredient. Also, if you absolutely need to...

Nope. 7 in round 2. 8 in round 3. The extra time and word-limit come at a cost.

    D&D 5E (2014) E6 and 5e (Things I've noticed)

Also, beware inevitables. Nothing scared my 20-level characters’ players more than when a squad of maruts would show up. Something about at-will plane shifting foes who never miss and do a lot of unvarying damage really spooked my players. Especially if they were caught inside. Which they...

    D&D 5E (2014) E6 and 5e (Things I've noticed)

Well, that might be a bit much at the higher end. The main danger is that things get pretty swingy at the highest levels of play already.* Most attacks will miss a well-optimized AC (+ the shield spell). Mobs of lesser opponents meant to tie the PCs down will get wrecked with magic. Big, scary...

    Spiderman No Way Home Trailer

Hawkeye and Ant-Man do likewise. It is possible, though, that Hawkeye is as consistently undervalued in-universe as he is by fandom. Ant-Man, on the other hand, has already been shown to be unknown to popular culture in Endgame. (Not to mention that he was gone for 5 years.)
