    What If...?

As near as I can tell, Put more simply, at this point, all variant timelines that have or will have ever existed (outside the so-called “sacred” timeline) have never been pruned. Even though they also all have been.

    IRON DM 2021 Tournament

To elaborate: a well-crafted subtitle can take a lot of the expository load off of an entry in a very efficient few words. I personally encourage their use as such, but they really do need to count against the word-limit. Of course, @Iron Sky will be the arbiter for the match in question. It...

    What If...?

There’s no reason to assume she’s still sane, just because she comes out coherent. Although, if her personality was already highly adaptable to unusual situations, the superserum would heighten that trait, I would think. And frankly, the sanity-fraying aspect of cosmic horror doesn’t make much...

Scheduling for the IRON DM 2021 Tournament!

@Wicht and @humble minion Would y’all like to start tomorrow, Thursday, or Friday (EDT, of course. humble minion would be ahead of that by 14 hours, right?). A late-ish start for Wicht would probably be best, so humble minion doesn’t have to start too early in the AM of the next day...

Wouldn’t it be worth a thousand words for the picture part + 1 for each word used?

So…your strategy is to give the judge a negative impression right at the outset? It’s a bold move, Cotton. Let’s see if it works out for them.

D&D 5E (2014) Rogue's Cunning Action to Hide: In Combat??

Now that is a sensible answer! Although, I do suspect that an under-performing rogue would not actually “feel fine” in play under such conditions.

D&D 5E (2014) Rogue's Cunning Action to Hide: In Combat??

Oh, I personally have no issues with giving the rogue (or anyone else) easy access to advantage. And part of that for me lies in recognizing that a lot of stealth during combat is based at least somewhat on distraction rather than purely on location. But on a more general, non-personal note...

D&D 5E (2014) Rogue's Cunning Action to Hide: In Combat??

Out of curiosity, if it feels like rogues are doing fine because human brains are bad at intuiting otherwise, what’s the problem? Maybe rogues are balanced more around how they feel than how they actually perform. And, if so, I ask again: what’s the problem?
