I like the idea of 2.5D...Just 2D maps with maybe 3D(ish) minis. But I'm guessing the work to make any portion of it 3D(ish) would be a lot of effort so you might as well make everything 3D(ish).

There was definitely a slow down from about November through February. Things are starting to look more normal now. One problem with prognositcation... is that sometimes the tea leaves don't always lead to true conclusions. It remains to be seen whether this recovery will last though.

Yes, I think it gets better. Great show. But if the mystery doesn't intrigue you, then I don't know that the show is for you. I was hooked from the first episode.

Confirmed that the artist is someone named Dmitri that works in-house with Heretical Fun House (the publisher). The name is in the video... which I didn't watch before. Anyway... I'm digging the art... makes it very distinctive.

Well, whatever was holding back 3rd party 5e crowdfunding campaigns seems to have cleared. Lots of stuff popping up over the last couple of weeks. One of the more interesting ones from this current crop is Gardar Realms... We've seen a few Slavic mythology related books, but I'm digging some...

I may have said this before... but boy is it getting tiresome to flip through poorly thought out kickstarters where not only the art, but also the writing seems to be largely generated by AI / LLM tools. And the fact that people support them to the tune of thousands of dollars is mind boggling.

Here's a fun and easy one that doesn't require excessive rerolls. 3d6, replace a single die with a value of 4. This yields a range of 6 to 16. If you roll 1,1,1... you replace a die with a 4 and get 6. Similarly, if you roll 6,6,6... replace a die with a 4 and you get 16.
