    D&D 4E How to do a 4e Spellthief?

I'm liking this, and had a similar thought. You described it better than I would have.

    Hexblade: The Path of Splinters

I'm going to agree with this sentiment. Otherwise, I really like this build. And thanks for PDF-ing it.

    [Planescape-ish] 101 Planar Adventures

Frakkin' amazing. That's some nice work, Charger! Power level? The PCs will be level 1 or 2 to begin with, then after a few sessions under our collective belts they'll jump up to level 5 or so, then up to level 9 or 10. We'll proceed into Paragon tier and level normally from there. I...

    [Planescape-ish] 101 Planar Adventures

The plan is to do some plane-hopping, based in Sigil. I considered having my players be the "first contact" team, hired by a Sigilian employer to open unknown portals to new planes and survey the 'lay of the land' as it were. A scout team, essentially. (Almost like a fantasy-ized Start Gate...

    [Planescape-ish] 101 Planar Adventures

Looking for some shortish ("monster of the week" style, able to be completed in a few game sessions, a little more substantial than Side Quests) planar adventure ideas. Only requirements? That it fits in the new cosmology of the 4th ed planes, and that lower level characters (1st or 2nd) could...

    Ravenloft Campaigns: What’s the meta-point?

This is {edit: was} a terrific thread. Arguments {initially} well written (but which by page 3 or so were spiraling into tedium). For a while there, I was thinking, "Yeah, I totally agree with you completely!" to every dang post and author, and that's pretty cool.

    Keeping urban campaigns simple

Rel's commentary should be in the next DMG, and WotC should pay him a decent wad of cash for it. I'd love to hear Rel expound upon the whole "web of alliances, hatreds and interests" aspect of his game. Good stuff, everyone!

    Swordmage- Assault or Shielding?

This is my experience as well. The enemies tend to stay pretty well focused on me, since I'm usually punishing their butts every attack.

    New Class: Time Traveler

Man, if you keep improving on this thing you're gonna make me have to playtest it... It's rough, but it's growing on me with time! .....Err....no pun intended.

    New Class: Time Traveler

Some editing might go a long way, too. From some of the powers (my emphasis): Distortion Time Traveler Attack 1 With a flick of the wrist you blast your enemies, blurring you’re the area in a foggy haze. Time Paradox Time Traveler Attack 1 You grimace as time seems to skip for a moment...

D&D 3.x Level conversion between 3.5 and 4E for monsters?

If I might threadjack for a few seconds....how about adapting AD&D 2nd edition monsters to 4th edition? I take it that since 3.x edition was a bit more powerful than AD&D 2nd, then logically AD&D 2nd to 4th is a somewhat significant increase in power. Any suggestions?

Dungeon Crawl Classics #56: Scions of Punjar

I won't spoil anything, but I found the "mastermind behind the plot" to be a bit...cliché...for my tastes. It felt weak and made me wonder why the main NPCs didn't figure out the villain's identity much earlier. The rest of the adventure was terrific--but to have the villain be so...
