Tell me about Star Wars: Edge of the Empire

I played in a short campaign about 5 years ago. It was okay but I have to say that I really don't like the weird FFG dice system. I prefer games that just use regular dice rolls. It kind of took me out of the space as it were as I kept having to ask what I had rolled. Covid hit just after we...

What Do You Need From Publishers?

For D&D I want full published adventure path style campaigns that go 1st to 20th. Generic enough that they can fit most settings and don't go weird or way out.

D&D General AI Art for D&D: Experiments

I have noticed that especially in it's default art style such as the one with the party running from the wraith. It's not so bad when you ask it to do photo realistic as it does try. If prefer not to uses the default style as it doesn't quite sit right with me for some reason.

D&D General AI Art for D&D: Experiments

In what way? I'm happy with the outcomes. I found that out in the summer. I was doing some pictures for my sister in law of her dog in different in outfits and adventure poses, and Chat GPT lets you save a created image and uses it as a base when you ask it to.

D&D General AI Art for D&D: Experiments

A couple pictures I was playing around with a week or two ago, trying to create some scenes with the same adventurers. One being chased by some wraithly figure and the second in the tavern afterwards counting out their spoils. Both were basic ChatGPT.

    D&D 5E (2024) A critical analysis of 2024's revised classes

Same. Although not everyone will agree, I do like to read others views on classes where they feel they are buffed or nerfed. For what we have so far... In my Tuesday night campaign, one player has a halfling barbarian at 6th (World Tree) and he's a tough little so and so. Puts out good damage...

D&D General AI Art for D&D: Experiments

Hobbyists like us aren't the issue. We use AI for our own entertainment or our own homebrew projects. I personally don't have an issue if someone puts up a cheap couple dollar adventure on a PDF download site if they have used AI artwork - we can't all afford artists. But AI should not be...

D&D General Wild Magic, Yea or Nay?

At the start of the year I was running some Pathfinder Society scenarios before my proper D&D campaign started. One player brought a Wild Magic Sorcerer in and I have to say that despite the randomness, we never found it disruptive to the game at all. I think the worst thing to happen was he set...

D&D General Wild Magic, Yea or Nay?

It's fun but I wouldn't want multiple wild magic sorcerers at a single table. Half the time the effects are cool or add something to the encounter, The other half... oh, you summoned a 10' square swarm of butterflies.... next!
