OSR Question about OSE's box sets

This approach actually works if you got everything that was available in the first KS. Along with the original Classic Box, he also printed the Advanced Genre Rules (character classes) and Druid & Illusionist Spells, which both fit into the original extra deep box.

    D&D General This cost $20

You've got one. Now you need to hunt down the other 12. And this is Series 2, so you gotta get all of Series 1 too. Mistakes like this get expensive real quick.

    Roll20 Purchases Demiplane

Remember that Roll20 owns DriveThruRPG et al.

    So who else….

I know nothing about swords, but the prices I could make out in the first picture don't seem too bad. It's easy to understand how an accident like that could happen.

AD&D 2E A bunch of 2e PDFs seem to have bumped up in price

What's strange about the newer version is this part: I was under the impression that the 'updated' date was when the file was actually updated on DTRPG's systems.

You Can Pick Your Nose, and Pick Your Attorney, But Don't Pick Your Attorney's Nose

Sooo... It's safe to construe everything said in this thread as legal advice?

    D&D 5E (2014) What's your favorite 5e book cover?

The Hydro74 alt covers for the core book gift set were nice. The only time I ever saw them in person the LGS had broken the sets apart and were charging like 80 bucks a piece for the books and another 50 or 60 for the slip case (forgot what they were charging for the DM screen that went with it).

What are your "dumbest" TTRPG costs

But my opponents don't like it when I slap a sheet of MDF down on top of the maps. Doesn't seem to matter if it's painted and sealed or not...

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

What's an aerosmith? Do you mean like a fletcher or something? ;)

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

Yep. Everyone who wants this mini but has an issue with the change can easily recreate the original piece by putting it on a shelf with the back facing out.

D&D General D&D Red Box: Who Is The Warrior?

I see this causing some unwarranted drama. Personally I think she looks pretty cool. And she's still got the mighty thews of the original painting.

ToV Kobold Press' Black Flag System Reference Document Released

Marc, just a couple little layout suggestions for future versions of the BFRD. First is put a version/revision number or a date or something on the cover page so people know what they have. Second is include some visual identifier in the monster subgroups so it's easier to see when the...

    D&D 5E (2014) The woes of creating high-level pregens

Download all the level 1-10 pregen packs from WotC and give players some options of 9th and 10th level characters. https://dnd.wizards.com/resources/character-sheets

D&D General WizKids Announces Unpainted Minis for D&D, Critical Role

It really says something that I much prefer the look of the classic, more staid miniatures than the cartoony 5e counterparts. I believe that exact something is "I'm old."

It'd be hilarious if it was the McAfee ad doing it.

    D&D General D&D AI Fail

I'm confused. Which parts aren't true? And Morrus, shouldn't you be on the horn with WotC to get their response to these rumors that are circulating online?

D&D General Hasbro Is Looking For Partners For Baldur's Gate 4

Prediction: BG4 will go to whatever studio tells WotCBro that they can have a AAA game built from scratch by next summer, no problem. And the quality will be what you'd expect from that.
