Concealing?? This sounds like they are willfully hiding it. How many copies of PF2 have sold? Tales of the Valiant? Warhammer 4e? Cyberpunk Red? These figures are not shared publicly. They've said it's selling well, that's all we're going to get.

There aren't too many consumer items where sales figures are shared. Sales figures are for publicly traded companies.

It has been restocked, once in the US and once recently in EU. I can only go by anecdotal stories from the two game store owners I know. One said he got more stock on it than he does with most of the non-dnd/pf rpgs and it sold out pretty quickly. The other one got a couple copies, not thinking...

Coincidentally, the latest Void drop has a very Sigil-coded environment...makes me wonder if the new setting they are developing is a Planescape-like multiverse thing.

If you do want to see DH played in a more D&D-style, the Age of Umbra AP is pretty good. CR admitted to having die-hard old habits while playing the game. CR also likes their big terrain and mini sets, which is a bit more prep-heavy than DH suggests. But it does show that the game can be played...

That's an interesting take, I've never known a player that is disappointed without blood with every hit. It's still a game, they know hp were removed, requiring blood in the description seems arbitrary, as well as unrealistic (unless they're fighting a blood elemental or something). Personally...

I think it's game-dependent. It kind of follows the "What are hit points?" questions, and whether there are multiple types of hp tracks, whether your hp pool grows significantly as you gain skill, and how quickly said hp come back all are important to consider.

This is one of the reasons why I've moved to pdfs (that, and I don't want additional clutter).

Not wrong there. Those are meant to be entertaining, and too many people newer to roleplaying look at it as a typical example of play.

Good question. I'm not really an AP watcher. I know Darrington Press have some one-shots for each of the non-Age of Umbra campaign frames, but those probably lean more into character silliness than gameplay mechanisms (anyone that knows better, please correct me).

I'd imagine it would have no cards, with pre-built PCs...which kind of goes against DH's play philosophy. But, then again, they are making a complete setting and an adventure path style campaign, so that might not matter...

Starter sets? I didn't know that was a thing...or were they core sets?

Not saying anyone is doing anything wrong here, necessarily, but personally speaking, when I'm ambivalent about something, I tend to ignore it...
