I watched Bob's video about it. Very interesting, but I'm afraid it will get lost in all the new fantasy games coming out right now.

It's made me less excited for CR, personally. One thing I noticed with the AoU game, my attention wasn't completely lost during combat, unlike the d&d APs. Ah well, at least they are continuing AoU.

Depends on what I'm playing. I have been pretty spoiled using Fantasy Grounds for a decade, so anything less than full featured feels incomplete, but if it's a more narrative-focused game, less tends to be more.

Earlier in the year, when I was thinking about starting a Marvel Multiverse game, I looked into M&M 3e as another option, as I used to play 1e back in the day. Watching an example fight on YT made me drop that thought quickly. It's funny how much my gaming tastes have changed the past 20 years...

It might be worth talking about this in the session zero, or perhaps even before that. Just bring up your concerns and how the GM intends to potentially deal with these problems.

500k characters made on Demiplane. The Roll20 integration is under way and not complete, so actual players playing as opposed to PCs made isn't known. I know I made a katari assassin knowing almost zero about the system just to check it out.

S Same. I avoided news about this game intentionally to start with...too many FRPGs. But I fell down a YT rabbit hole a few weeks ago, and now I'm running it for one of my groups when we're done the Marvel game we're in the middle of.

Not even sure I'm going to be able to play this game in meatspace, but I wanted that shiny LE. And I'm not exactly a theatre kid or a critter. This game is just that cool.

More "anecdotal evidence" for the person I spoke to that thought this game was already circling the drain because all the Critters got their copies already lol
