If you don't feel there's any progression in 5E Realms, it might be OK for you. My game is still in 1371 DR. I was OK with the Spellplague but never accepted the 100-year timeline advance. A reset to 1357 DR would have been better.

Candlekeep Mysteries placed it in 1492 DR which was a 2021 release. But overall it doesn't look like the setting has advanced beyond 1496 DR in any 5E publications. It will be interesting to see where they place Eve of Ruin, if at all. They may have stopped that convention. We'll have to wait...
