It feels like tons of people don't know how or what attrition is. It's five minute adventuring days or DMs complaining about overpowered PCs while not throwing 7ish encounters at them.

You wouldn't be teaching, you would be the university president. The actual professors should be drawn from Enworld itself. Either from people you previously worked with or from these very forums.

When will you launch the Enworld DMing University?? I'm sure you could create a much better, high quality DM training experience!!! Wouldn't you all sign up for one???

Ask her to define what she means by "challenge characters" and "grittier" because that can be done a dozen different ways. IMO it sounds like she should switch to a system that would better support her preferences; like the Dungeon Crawl Classics RPG!
