    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

In the sane vein, it's good to be critical and question everything, just not every everything that madness consumes you. The just mean and all that.

@CleverNickName The problem also comes that experiences are many times a one time deal and can't be replicated.

In your defense, who is handling an eight year old "Chariots of the Gods"? (But again I was like that age when I got my paws on "Caballo de Troya"*) *In the Spanish speaking world there is a journalist turned writer who started writing about UFO then moved into gnostic/new age spirituality. His...

Word on my area is that the genuine won't charge for their services. Nothing yells "I'm a fraud" louder than an invoice.

Which Chips (or Fries) Are the Best?

In my country we only consume them for dessert. Be it baked with condensed milk and ground cinnamon, crystalized, or boiled with sweet spices and panela.

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

I've always thought about how one could conduct a double blind test to see which observers are more genuine and which are just highly suggestionable. (Or just prove nobody is a reliable eye witness)

It is not arbitrary. UFO claims are essentially supernatural with science fictioney window dressing. Leaving aside that some sightings that truly defy rational explanation -like the above mentioned army list, and in this case there is a chasm between "I can't explain it rationally" and...

Sleep paralysis explains everything. The feeling of someone touching my forehead, the feeling of being strangulated by a dark figure, me waking up with an anguished voice, the door bursting open at the right time, the bed jumping ! All of it is sleep paralysis.

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

Guilty as charged, I guess. ( Though sassy me would say "given my tagline, it must have been a giant surprise n_n ) In my defense I lean more towards "some stuff is outside the paradigm of reason. I won't pretend I can understand it rationally when it's obvious I won't ever, and that's ok, but...

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

I would have preferred a "don't know" option. In the end I said "yes" because there's a lot of stuff in the world (and experiences I won't share this time) that tell me something exists. And well, I'm religious myself, so maybe not believing in ghosts as discarnated undead, but something that we...

    Are Ghosts Real? (a poll)

However I find it more honest to just claim something unexplainable to be magic/supernatural or even ghosts or angels than go towards pseudocientific stuff like aliens and then claim it is 'better' somehow because we are just ignorant and we could always find new stuff in the laws of physics...

But there comes a point where all knowledge relies on one or more leaps of faith. We need some faith in order to have knowledge, otherwise we end up on a neverending cycle of requiring proof after proof after proof. We at some point need to have faith in others and take their data and knowledge...

I've since being corrected. I was thinking about California sourdough. Specifically thinking about olive oil, all of the false oil in the market just made me switch to avocado oil. Less corruption, more locally available, and more stable for cooking.

In theory, one could reproduce conditions in an almost lab-like environment. In practice, there are lots of little known factors that make a big difference and we can't truly control them. (Like the little cave that was ruined by a lone cheetos envelope)

Funny that Mezcal is itself also PDO. And because getting it is expensive -because every influencer and theie dog wanted theor own brand-, many small producers are just selling "agave spirits" (destilado from agave).
