D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depiction of the sorcerer class

100% for Lina Inverse, particularly with how she describes her magic as being basically a form of pact magic. This probably applies to Natsu as well, though he's probably a cross-class Sorcerer Monk, since as a shonen protagonist he does a lot of hand-to-hand combat. EDIT: Also, taking a cue...

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depiction of the D&D Rogue

I'm going to add Satou Kazuma from the anime KonoSuba here as well, as a thief recommendation. EDIT: Though I voted for Woodchuck, Bilbo, and Mouse

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depiction of the Paladin Class

I just realized a really good anime pick for Paladin - Tilarna from last year's Cop Craft.

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depiction of the Paladin Class

So - it hasn't been animated yet, it's just a manga but... Senshi from Delicious in Dungeon is totally a Ranger.

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depiction of the Paladin Class

I thought about suggesting this in the earlier thread - but I wasn't sure how well Anime suggestions would have gone over but... Arturia Pendragon/Saber from Fate/Stay Night and Fate/Zero and Astolfo/Rider of Black from Fate/Apocrypha. (Bonus with that last one because they're Paladins in...

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depictions of the Monk class

Wouldn't having Way of the Kensei be Kai from 47 Ronin better keep with the pattern? 😃

D&D 5E (2014) Best on screen depictions of the Monk class

Would Once A Upon A Time In China Wong Fei Hung be an identical pick to Drunken Master Wong Fei Hung, or would those be two different picks?

D&D General Best on screen adaptations of Wuxia D&D multiclassed Bard/Monks and Western Prohibition-Era Gangster Plot Themes

Yep, the musicians were great, and just all the little shout-outs to other martial arts films (the harpists to Deadful Melody; Cooley, Donut, and Tailor were all from '70s and '60s martial arts films like 8 Diagram Pole Fighter (literally for Donut - the actor who played him was also the lead in...

    D&D 5E (2014) Do you use a clock?

I haven't used a clock, but where necessary I will use a timeline.

The Case of the Unlucky Crit

I generally rule that player intent matters - that if players are dealing non-lethal damage, they are deliberately attempting to pull their punches to knock opponents out. And if they roll a crit and deal enough damage to KO, then the crit signifies that they knew to deal exactly enough damage...

Critical Role The New D&D Book Is 'The Explorer's Guide to [Critical Role's] Wildemount!' By Matt Mercer

Sorry for the delay getting back to this, they are available on the Kindle store. And, again, a lot of them have audiobooks - even ones which you wouldn't think would get audiobooks, like Pool of Radiance.

D&D 5E (2014) DC Comics Publishing Dungeons & Dragons Sourcebook

I mean, the Savage Avengers are absolutely a thing, in addition to Conan teaming up with Moon Knight in Conan: Serpent War.

Monte Cook Games’ Next Kickstarter Is Ptolus (for 5E and Cypher)

Not really - it's generally sold pretty well on the various digital platforms it's available on. It didn't get the same level of buzz as something like Disco Elysium, but it did alright.

Monte Cook Games’ Next Kickstarter Is Ptolus (for 5E and Cypher)

Nah - they might know Monte from Numinera, if only because it's gotten adapted in video game form.

Critical Role The New D&D Book Is 'The Explorer's Guide to [Critical Role's] Wildemount!' By Matt Mercer

Physical copies yes, digital copies and audiobooks less so.

    D&D 5E (2014) Terrible Titles for a Xanathar Follow-up

The New Xanathar's Guide To Everything (with the joke being that the new Xanathar is in the foreground, and the old Xanathar dead in the background).

The Best Streams: Non D&D Edition

I think it's since wrapped, but Geek and Sundry had a Star Trek AP called Shield of Tomorrow that was pretty good.

Critical Role Here's The Official Wildemount Announcement!

I fully suspect that if streaming was a thing back in the 1e-2e day, the original Dragonlance campaign would have been streamed.
