i played galder bloodaxe, a dwarf fighter in a 2nd edition game, for 1.5 years. he went from level 7 to 11 in that time. the game collapsed because of interpersonal issues, but i was sick of the character anyway :) i am so envious of anyone who has played the same character for many years...
