I beg to differ. When you take a reaction it becomes your turn to act. Or re-act.

Except it's p. 127 says 'once on each of your turns'. It's not once per round or once on your initiative.

Then I invite you to read the text for Sneak Attack on p.129. There is no mention of Reaction. It's just 'once per turn'.

But when you act on a reaction it is your turn. Do you mean that Rogues can no longer Sneak Attack as a Reaction?

Really? You get an extra turn when it's your Reaction. It's not once per round. That limitation is not present in the text. You could first target A then B and if one or the other provokes a Reaction then you can attack both again.

PHB p.127 ISTM that Horde Breaker could give a level 3 Hunter Ranger four attacks per round - two on their Action and two on their Reaction. That seems a little too good to me. What do you think?

This is easily solvable by making a house rule that PCs may not start play with a stat greater than 16. Help players put their points elsewhere to create more rounded characters. Let me add two features I particularly like: Action Surge. Useful for so much more than an extra set of attacks...

Specifically the Champion makes running a second character / sidekick - the Champion - a breeze when you have only a few players.

I'm not sure if it's better than the bonus attack from 5E PAM when wielding a one-handed spear. Note that if you have the Duellist fighting style PAM allows the +2 damage bonus from Duellist but this new feat does not.

You get a better bonus from 5E Duelling if you use a spear one-handed.

True, but you can use 5E Action Surge for extra movement - it's the Fighter's escape power - or to rescue a friend who's falling to their death - "I'll Action Surge and try to grab them." - or so much more. We had a whole thread some years ago about how bad the higher-level Fighter was at...

I haven't seen 5.24 yet but do remember that Action Surge in 5E can be used for far more than an extra Attack action.

Yes. Just because the PCs encounter a lot of magic / weird stuff / monsters doesn't mean that everyone encounters a lot of magic etc.

I've been on a Bronze Age kick recently but the European Medieval era is both comfortably familiar and comfortably different.

I wonder, how many of Greyhawk's deities are ascended mortals or children of ascended mortals? Some deities - mainly lesser ones - are explicitly stated as such but how far up could they go? Rao seem a reasonable bet, for instance.
