Pathfinder 2E Pathfinder 2 and support for other playing styles/subgenres

I actually liked this thread, before it was derailed to be about CapnZap, who the "derailors" then declared to be a troll. I own the CRB and the Beginner Box - and currently play 5e. There are some stuff I like about PF2, but I also see quite some issues. Hence I like reading these threads...

WotC James Wyatt is on the Dungeons & Dragons Team Again

I get nothing but good vibes from Perkins and Crawford. And I have no reason to not trust those vibes. And yeah, even from where I'm located (Northern Europe), the question is: is an evil Canadian even possible?

WotC James Wyatt is on the Dungeons & Dragons Team Again

Getting back on topic, I really like James' work, so this is a great move from where I'm sitting :) Now I just want Rob Heinsoo back as well.

WotC James Wyatt is on the Dungeons & Dragons Team Again

But the thing they mentioned, wasn't that related to some digital product? I might missremembering.

WotC James Wyatt is on the Dungeons & Dragons Team Again

Perhaps they are sheltering their designers from the outcries in social media, and all those ridiculous naughty word storms.. I find this sad. Very sad. Nothing is gained by less openness.

    D&D 5E (2014) RIP alignment

I’m gonna miss them as a GM. Really didn’t use the player’s alignment but for monsters I found them to be useful.

D&D 5E (2014) WotC to increase releases per year?

This thread is going more and more off-topic, but: My favourite chocolate bar is the Yankie Bar - (a Danish bar which was actaully created for American WWII soldiers in Gemany).

What are you running right now?

Just finished LMoP that transitioned into Tyranny of Dragons, where unfortunately the playes died at the hands of Tiamat. But it was an awesome campaign. ToD was so much fun (don't understand the hate ToD gets). Two of the players were totally new, and got hooked hard on D&D. Now we have just...

D&D General Nobody likes an edition warrior.

Let me quote Tolstoy: war what is it good for!

D&D 5E (2014) WotC to increase releases per year?

Would really like som high-level adventures. Last month my players was about to finish ToD, and I was a bit bewildered about what to play afterward. I did find some fine stuff at DMs Guild, but I would love a hardback with great high-level adventures (not necessarily a campaign). Now, as fate...

On Fantasy Grounds D&D Increases Dominance To 71%

Do you foresee getting a license for 4e? Would be so awesome.

Roll20's Latest Numbers: Cthulhu Holding Strong!

I think it is Roll20 that is doing all the conversion. In the last roundtable, Roll20 said they are working on the Trouble in Otari module, but that they aren't working on Abominations Vault, and if users would like to see that they should let them know.

Pathfinder 2E Release Day Second Edition Amazon Sales Rank

Agreed. That’s why a 5.5 edition would be more likely. But yeah they are solid right now.

Pathfinder 2E Release Day Second Edition Amazon Sales Rank

Even though I play 5e and not PF2 I really would have loved for PF2 to be much closer to 5e. Could have been interesting. Oh well.

D&D General Adam Bradford, Lauren Urban, Todd Kenrick Leave D&D Beyond

Totally agree with this. I think it is inevitable that WotC will have their own VTT. I think either WotC bought DDB and perhaps these guys and gals don't like the direction, and are leaving because of it. WotC didn't buy DDB, but hired these people away to start something new, probably a VTT...

D&D 4E Anyone playing 4e at the moment?

Thanks. That’s sure gonna be handy having near by.

D&D 4E Something in the "MoonStalker" Paragon Path that doesn't quite make sense?

Wow, it's pretty powerful to be able to shift before moving. I like how OA are more tactical in 4e with shifts and what not. I find in 5e my players seldom want to take the disengage action.
