I don’t really know why people think this given that the other setting books released matched the tone and felt like the setting

I did a few Spelljammer conflicts they were fun enough. It would have been nice for there to be more upgrades, but it did it’s job. Once again I view it’s big flaw as it’s length it should have been longer. Planescape alleviates those concerns by being longer and better.
