I disagree. DMs CAN change things for specific cases, but I do not think it is the DM's obligation to change backgrounds to accommodate any player requests. The DM is a player too and is usually putting in way more effort to make the game happen; they are entitled to a say in what does and...

Some are great, some are very story-dependent (like getting to have an audience with leaders of the faction). As a note, the dragon egg reward does not guarantee the Dragon will stick around with you when it hatches. You are just asked to care for the egg until it hatches. After that, it is up...

Purple Dragon Knight Retooled as Banneret in D&D's Heroes of Faerun Book

Good luck convincing most DMs to give a player a pet dragon outside of their Subclass.

Should be noted the printed book has an error: Genies Splendor for the Paladin is 10+Dex+Con in the print but the Beyond version is 10+Dex+Cha.

Lot of feats. Origin ones for the factions, general feats that build on those, plus feats for the five settings and epic boons.

Just new lore. Any “new” species is just pointing you to Monsters of the Multiverse (for Deep Gnome and Duergar).
