    D&D 5E (2014) Glabagool mount

Well I can assure you, we're sure as hell treating Glababool as an equal (using him as a mount is not meant to indicate any inferior status). We want him to grow with us. There's a whole big world out there to explore.

    D&D 5E (2014) Glabagool mount

How can I make the bottom half of my character immune to gelatinous cube digestion? Glabagool has offered to serve as a mount. What we have in mind is:

DMs Guild DMs Guild & Art work ?

Art is not part of the DMs Guild license. I quoted the part that says that above. In any case SA does not prohibit commercial, just distrubuting under a different license. Would be nice if wizards wiuld clear it up.

Elder Brain would be nice to have.

DM's Guild: What Do The Customers Think?

I find it very annoying that people are naming things to get to the top of the list: !#55 Magic Item Compilation Set 1 $0 5e Ranger Revised This kind of thing needs to be policed. It seems like Wizards set up the website and then just left.

D&D comes to Middle Earth (from Cubicle 7)

I wonder what timeline they'll use.

DMs Guild DMs Guild & Art work ?

It's a tricky one, and I'm no lawyer. I agree, SA is the issue. However, 2C exempts all artwork from the category of "User Generated Content." I figure that takes even CC-BY-SA out the loop. The relevant chunks of the DMs Guild contract or whatever are: 2(c) “User Generated Content” shall...

DMs Guild DMs Guild & Art work ?

You're fine with CC as long as you avoid non-commerical. The DMs Guild mentions CC specifically: Logos and Artwork What kinds of artwork and maps can I use in my DMs Guild titles? The artwork (illustrations or maps) that you include in your title does not become part of the DMs Guild content...

DMs Guild DMs Guild & Art work ?

Art is explicitly exempt from the DMs Guild copyright/license so you can use CC-BY or CC-BY-SA (the vast majority of wikimedia commons images) in addition to public domain art. The CC-BY material you have to attribute and you probably should provide a link to the public domain images just to be...

    D&D 5E (2014) A 42 page adventure for characters level 14 to 16

I have just finished reformatting the entire module using The Homebrewery (http://www.naturalcrit.com/homebrew/). In addition to the reformatting, minor corrections and edits have been made and additional art and maps added.

DM's Guild: What Do The Customers Think?

The price of art is astronomical relative to what the DMsGuild authors make (pizza money) so the art will remain cheap and cheerful unless the author has access to a cheap/free source. In addition, the terms of the DMsGuild prevent some freely available art that has certain Creative Commons...

    D&D 5E (2014) Test of High Level 5E: Design 4 or 5 lvl 13 PCs for 6 to 8 encounter adventuring day

Look, this is actually a really useful idea and it would be great to see how it works out. So let's run the numbers on it and leave the meta arguments to other threads.

DMs Guild Pay What You Want on the DMs Guild - An Analysis and Explanation

If you look at what artists expect to be paid--based on what I've seen in the other thread--to what the actual going rate is for freelance writers (a few pennies per word) the disparity is huge.

D&D 5E (2014) Why (and when) did "Adventure Paths" replace modules?

Boom, this. Let me dungeon crawl for a few sessions then have some downtime where I can build a keep, go to Silverymoon to look for some blacksmiths and artisans to help with construction, and roll on the carousing table. The Goodman Games stuff looks good actually.

D&D 5E (2014) Why (and when) did "Adventure Paths" replace modules?

Remember this survey: http://www.enworld.org/forum/showthread.php?473102-Which-D-amp-D-Settings-Do-You-Play-In ? At first I was surprised that Home-brew beat Forgotten Realms--the 'official setting.' However, when you consider that there is only SCAG for background and these APs which require a...
