We put our flag up this morning rolled our Rs mightily at every chance in preparing for work and school.

Family vote was unanimous. The teen is bingeing the Simpsons. If not done with the first 11 seasons by the 2nd we will see if the old DVDs and Xbox 360 still work.

That's something we'll be talking about as well.

Arrived today. Is very pretty :-) I look forward to seeing how much time I waste invest in seeing how it compares to predecessors.

I need to see which ones the teen actually used. There might be some we can nuke between shows. I do need to see where several Redford movies are.

Our current line-up (two adults and a teen) is: Prime Video (from Amazon Prime) Paramount+ (from Walmart Plus) Netflix with ads Disney+ BritBox PBS Streaming I'm not sure if I've ever watched anything on Paramount+ or not. Even have the teen watching BritBox things now.

Tangential to lane usage: A decade or so ago, one that really got me was a rash of pedestrians walking x-abreast on a path or sidewalk towards someone who was walking singly all the way to the right (possibly up against hedges or a wall or fence). The groups (or couples) would apparently...

Does feel to me like 90 is probably ridiculous in any city in any case! That being said, Chicago suburbs do have an interstate with up to 14 lanes going through them where the left lane is just cars doing 90+ sometimes. (I am sometimes not sure Illinois actually does have any state police...

Legally I am not sure. In practice it sure doesn't stop it. :-(

The three places that always amaze me in terms of there not being miles of crashes on a continuous basis... Where Chicago-land rules (left lane usually open and holy !?! how fast was that car in it going) hit northern Wisconsin ethos (I'll drive five under in the left lane if I want) somewhere...

In South Carolina, for example, the law behind the "slow traffic keep right" signs is actually "no leftmost lane unless passing (barring congestion etc...)". So, paralleling someone in the lane to your right is in fact often illegal even if you are going the speed limit.

The biggest thing they've done here is to start publicizing that it is against state law for slow traffic to be in the left lane on highways. I really wish we had state police enforcing that with regular tickets and giving absolutely huge ones with tons of points to those tailgating at speed...
