At the table I'm finishing the 4e story arc, which is set in the Nentir Vale world (Arkosia and Bael Turath play a big role in the story). On a forum I'm dming a campign set in the Alfeimur setting (dark fantasy).

I started with a really complex language tree back in the AD&D days, but now I streamline it a bit: there is no Common, there are three regional languages and some "secret/racial" languages. Reading/Writing takes the place of a language slot (Nobles get it for free).

One of the human subraces I'm more proud of are the Chakbash, the Humans of the Eternal Night. They had to move underground to survive a magical catastrophe, and are generally LE, militaristic and fanatical. More here...
