On our way to GenCon - also, the 4e act one compilation is on sale

It's a small consolation for you, but... As "general public" I deeply thank you for supporting that Kickstarter, which allowed to expand this AP so much.

ZEITGEIST Brainstorming for ZEITGEIST 5th edition

I guess not many have read through 5th edition rules so far... I've run the playtest, but haven't checked the final version yet

    Thank you, missed that

Cauldron Born Task Force Token Stacking?

Do you have a reference for "no multiple applications of a bonus that have the same name"? You cannot stack typed bonuses (i.e. only one power/item/feat bonus apply), but untyped bonuses can be stacked however you want

ZEITGEIST 1001 things PCs are totally allowed to do in Zeitgeist campaign

    63. Using "A man with two guns is a god" with two grenades on suspicious druidic carriage on Dawn square right before Nevard's speech. Player visibly exhaled when skeleton bones went flying... 64. Going straight to Delft with "sir, I found them, can I keep them?" with two flayed jaguars in tow...

ZEITGEIST 1001 things PCs are totally allowed to do in Zeitgeist campaign

Wait, your party did sensible, rational thing to do?.. I'm flabbergasted. And a bit envious, cause in no way my party will go for that...

[Dying Skyseer] A lead to Creed

Well, there's not much of him left after 23 grenades, and he looked like half-burned half-flayed man without his illusion, so it's unlikely that he can be recognized by anyone. Bur his potential link to RHC can be exploited, perhaps they can find a hint in constabulary archive

[Dying Skyseer] A lead to Creed

My group happened to explode poor Cillian Creed before actually discovering his identity, only having met him once in McBannin manor, which was very brief (players couldn't actually recognize his portrait later), so I'm thinking about giving them some additional clues about who the hell that...

    Alternative Firearms rules? [4e]

Oooh, nice catch. It's actually in Rule Compendium, now that I have an idea on where to look for it. The description of grenades specifically states that they can be used with multi-[W] attacks, so the idea was for them NOT to be just another alchemical item (cause, let's be honest, ~90% of...

    Alternative Firearms rules? [4e]

Long-delayed update: In the end we run with house rule that all firearms except grenades get +3 power bonus to hit; this makes secondary effects on ranged attacks much more dangerous (and actually buffs a lot one of the most UP classes, seeker). They retain reload standard and high crit, but...

Volunteers to proofread the 500 page Act One hardcover (4e)?

Now I got it, the extended campaign guide is on Zeitgeist main site, but not on RPGnow

Volunteers to proofread the 500 page Act One hardcover (4e)?

Ok, I guess RPGnow just hates me personally again >_< I got the correct version in the end, thank you again.

Volunteers to proofread the 500 page Act One hardcover (4e)?

I fully understand that KS backers deserve their rewards =) One thing that you still may consider updating is the campaign guide, specifically, the short descriptions of individual modules, which shows signs of some early drafts of this AP. I.e. Asrabey Varal is Katarina's son and McBannin tries...

Volunteers to proofread the 500 page Act One hardcover (4e)?

I didn't know of Zeitgeist in time of Kickstarter happening, so I must wonder: would these revisions and extra material be incorporated in pdfs on RPGnow or perhaps the errata section of the main site? I've seen the changed stat-block for Reed McBannin somewhere in forums... I would fully...

ZEITGEIST 1001 things PCs are totally allowed to do in Zeitgeist campaign

Indeed, they planned to run away through the toilet right until the second carriage arrived with Heward inside. I shortened the time to half an hour, as this happens in the middle of the night and OB shadow horses are probably faster then regular. Btw, I don't know if it's an oversight or...

ZEITGEIST 1001 things PCs are totally allowed to do in Zeitgeist campaign

    58. Knocking Cillian Creed unconscious in Hiding in plain sight encounter (not giving him chance to flee) 59. Tying 32 (thirty two) grenades to him before letting him out in response to Leone Quintal demands. This actually put Leone into bloodied, despite his improvised shield 60. Mostly...

ZEITGEIST 1001 things PCs are totally allowed to do in Zeitgeist campaign

    42. Taking Eberardo hostage, among with everyone else on the street, by threatening to blow up the firedust-loaded wagon with a grenade. 43. Ending the unruly workers blockade in Parity lake by blowing the gates of the factory off. Poor horse in that wagon though.

ZEITGEIST Death and resurrection in Zeitgeist

Thank you for your answers! Well, my timing on this couldn't be better. Party is going through Dying skyseer in roughly the quickest possible way, which means they met Eberardo and Valando on 2nd level, with Daily powers mostly spent after the Cauldron hill battle. They refused to run away...

ZEITGEIST Death and resurrection in Zeitgeist

Upon reading through the campaign I was left with a feeling that resurrection is somewhat uncommon in Languir. Raise dead ritual by RAW 4ed is merely a 500 gp (or 680 gp scroll), which is well affordable by 2-3 rd level. I generally don't like this, as it lessens the value of human life to a...
