Not entirely. Might want to assume your opinion over rides reality and instantly dismissing someone's opinion. Its hard getting g a single encounter per day thats not a curb stomp or overwhelms the PCs. New 5.5 monsters hit like trucks. Even harder to do it abd retain fast combat.

Yawning Portal had better adventures. Radiant Citadel doesn't hold up vs any of the other anthologies. Espicially near contemporaries eg Golden Vault, Infinite Staircase. Hell even Candlekeep is better.

My players dont really go for pact of chain. Never seen one in 12 years. They ain't see interaction between it and summon undead. They dont really know about the weapon cantrips, spirit shroud or shadow blade. Well 1 sorta does but its also not her thing. She did use spirit shroud.

Yeah the adventures are default easy mode. Very easy mode. And it's usually a few critters. 3-6 generally.
