Interesting. That could definitely work from a Roleplay perspective. Game mechanics, you'd need the Wizard Helpless to Coup De Grace. If you've already captured him, then you've likely got the Helpless condition established. Yeah, that could be persuasive.

While I get your point, your specific example of using the Druid to outshine the Fighter really wouldn't take tons of optimization. A properly selected Animal Companion could replace a Fighter.
