If you are on adventure 3, you might just want to purchase it on Roll20 then. You get the tokens, the NPC character sheets, the maps, the text linked into the compendium, Dynamic Lighting if you are a Plus or Pro subscriber, etc., etc., etc...
It was a portion of the additional content from the 4e edition that I incorporated into the 5e edition. Essentially, a number of encounters were added to the journey from Innenotdar to Seaquen to foreshadow and give context to story elements (primarily for adventure 4).
I got the impression that Seaquen was quite young at the time, and they decided it was far enough away to be Dassen's problem (while they were trying to be independent of Dassen). If Lsi Pu causes a ruckus on a mountaintop, who does it really hurt?
I remember reading a few accounts of the adventure being too linear and having too many NPCs, so I made sure to let the PCs choose which way to go at the fork in the road and generally only have Torrent help in the fights. The players consistently rated the fire forest as one of their favorite...
My take is that the seela are not necessarily indomitable. That is generally reserved for creatures that would have "died" from the flames. The seela are special in that there fate is tied to the fate of the forest. As long as the forest survives (albeit in a horrible state), so do they. If the...
The seela are not entirely sure, but they believe that they are kept alive by the forest's unnatural surviving of the flames (without having to be on fire themselves). There is a contingent of seela who want to give up and die because of the hopelessness of their life, and they believe that...
My reading of it is that time is their greatest enemy. The undead are trying to knock them off the train. If they get knocked off, they start over again. They need to use area attacks and keep moving so that they can return to the land of the living before time runs out.
Taking a deeper look at this, I think that you should be somewhat visible to both planes in steps 1 to 5. Additionally, each method of transferring to the bleak gate is fundamentally different.
The smuggling route only has things transfer after passing all six rings within a certain time or it...
The spell's size category is based off of creature sizes, so it really only works against rowboats and other vehicles of 9 squares or smaller; even a cutter is technically larger. If Seas of Zeitgeist worked off of the creature size categories for the spell, everything other than the rowboat...
I think having the character floating over landscape will take care of the flying without making the eagle obvious. Given the content of adventures 3, 5, and 6, storms might be explained away as warnings of what is occurring vs references to Avilona. I think silence in adventure 5 would be...
