It's tough, because the ziggurats are directly tied to the planes, which takes you back to the Skyseer theme. A feat that let's you attune to Ancient items without satisfying any requirements (such as being a spellcaster) might work for an archeologist.

Here's a question for veterans of War of the Burning Sky: Why does Shaaladel attack the heroes at the end of book 12? As far as he knows, the Torch and the Heart are hidden or missing, and there are thousands of witnesses to his act of betrayal. What is his motivation here?
