Isn’t it up to us to “do D&D right”? The designers make the game and we play it. As long as we enjoy playing it in a way that’s fun for us it’s right.

The answer is simple…crush the souls of your players and then you have the game you want.

I’m sure when they knocked on the door and identified themselves; the family looked up the company history. Not everyone is the know it all people on the internet pretend to be. I’m not sure what the outcome of this conversation is supposed to be so…you win I guess.

I don’t want to minimize the fear and confusion they may have felt at the time. Was the situation FUBAR…of course. But just saying “Pinkertons” doesn’t mean what people think it means.

Don’t get me wrong; I want D&D to succeed. But I think we’re past needing WotC for that.

I’m no expert…and many many of you will confirm that I’m sure….but it don’t think we needed a magazine article to tell us that WotC is dazed and confused when it comes to D&D. 😵‍💫
