I always wanted a Shannara rpg. I've been thinking the world would be just fine using Fantasy Age or Cypher System. Cypher seems to hit a lot of the marks too. Artifacts, small magic items, strange creatures, tech and magic, etc.

The Fantasy Age is behind on release, but that could be a number of factors, as most publishing schedules have been punished in the last few years. I wouldn't doubt we'll see a KS for it. I hope so, I'd like to see the revised corebook eventually.

I think so too. I wonder if the licensing takes a toll on them? The Expanse, is getting fairly regular support, but most of their licensed products die off after a few books. That might have been the intended goal, not sure.

I wonder if other less complicated super hero games are taking their spot? Sentinel Comics, Masks PbtA, Claim the Sky, Icons, BASH, City of Mist, etc seem to have some traction in the TTRPG world. I tried to like M&M in the various editions, but I didn't want to deal with huge list of Feats...

I'm getting ready to sell off some extra books, and I noticed that Rise of Tiamat is going for big money now! I get that it's out of print because of the Tyranny of Dragons hardcover compilation, but it was never a real darling by any means, but eBay prices are $100+ !!! That's crazy!

Too bad the DM screen comes with the Deluxe Set. Hopefully it will be available separately. If it has the standard interior for 5e, and not DL specific items, then that's ok to miss. The interior should be DL specific to the adventure\setting.

I think it's the 'cheapness' of how it looks. The Witcher and LotR didn't have costumes and armor that look like they're from the Spirit Halloween store. Or maybe it's just the style or something, Just seems....off.
