I'm torn on that one. I do like how they have done away with a few legacy items (only four attributes, etc). I am just not in the space for a new fantasy d20 type rpg.

The covers for 13th Age 2e look odd. They don't look like companion volumes at all, at least stylistically.

We had a great time with a vagabond, mind melter, power armor guy and a line walker. The lack of balance is a feature not a bug. Anything and any style can be played.

It's too bad that Steve Jackson is so tight fisted with the GURPS property. More licensing of the system, more support of third parties publishing supplements would have gone a long way towards keeps GURPS on something besides life support.

These are all new. The 1st edition supplement, Ruins of the North, was the adventure companion book to the Rivendell region guide. Completely different set of adventures.
