Tell me your Tales of Calidar!

Outstanding! After I read through it I plan on drafting up a conversion document. I would love to pick your brain on it. I am feverishly prepping for Norwescon, but once that's behind me I am going to dig into Calidar.

Tell me your Tales of Calidar!

Awesome! What system are you thinking of using? I'm planning on using DnD5e.

BLUE ROSE Returns, Championing Diversity & Inclusiveness

Me too! I guess we should be happy? I mean, testing software has thus so far been a somewhat safe profession...

    D&D 5E (2014) Did The Finished 5th Edition Change Anyone's Mind?

I was cold on the play test. Downloaded the packet a few times and wasn't impressed. Then I played in a basic set game and it really piqued my interest. Bought the PHB and had that same "this is very well done" feeling I had when I picked up 3e back in the day. Now having all 3 books, I feel...

Tell me your Tales of Calidar!

Bruce Heard's setting of airships and awesome. I've been poking around the blog, looking at maps, and falling in love. :-) I picked up the hardcover and maps (on the way). I'm curious if anyone is playing with this setting currently? What system are you using?

BLUE ROSE Returns, Championing Diversity & Inclusiveness

I imagine a world someday where we don't toss a group of people under the bus as having a "lack of romance and politics". Or what about "I find it sad to think that there are enough people in the world with a lack of conflict and adventure that we can support an RPG based on imagining them..."...

BLUE ROSE Returns, Championing Diversity & Inclusiveness

    Good (and understood). :-)

BLUE ROSE Returns, Championing Diversity & Inclusiveness

I like Blue Rose. I think it's a creative setting and I look forward to what they do with it and the AGE system (which know very little about). I would love to see some links and discussion of the AGE system, and how people who have played it feel it will support the themes in Blue Rose. For...

BLUE ROSE Returns, Championing Diversity & Inclusiveness

I was hoping for more discussion of the game. :-( Some people on both sides of these arguments are bad examples of understanding, tolerance and practicing liberty. Free speech means you get to say what you want. That can be hurtful, ignorant and divisive or encouraging, inspiring and helpful...

BLUE ROSE Returns, Championing Diversity & Inclusiveness

I liked the original game. True20 was refreshing take on the d20 mechanics. I'm not as familiar with AGE system, but I think I need to pick up some Dragon Age when the hardcover comes out. :-) Anyone played AGE? Thoughts?

Fantasy Flight Games is Doing Very Well, Thank You!

Sheesh people. The graph is evenly spaced and looks fine. It's showing either gross sales or profits (there would be no reason to share it otherwise). Companies do not make a habit of sharing publicly a) declining profits or b) increasing expenses. FFG is obviously doing well. They don't have...

    D&D 5E (2014) MPMB's D&D 5e Character Tools

Awesome! I am planning on using this sheet for the upcoming Norwescon here in Seattle, WA. I won't be using the "automation" part at the table, but it should save me some serious time making the pre-gens AND helping players out at the table (sheet 3 especially!). Again, amazing work!

    D&D 5E (2014) MPMB's D&D 5e Character Tools

    1) love the sheet! What a gorgeous and useful contribution. Thanks for making it! 2) What are the little boxes with the black up and red down arrows for?

D&D 5E (2014) Of Wizards and specific 5e questions and musings

Welcome! Enworld is a great place to talk about RPGs. You can change that. For instance, you could say you can maintain an additional concentration spell for every 4 levels you have in a spellcasting class, making it more of a matter of experience. The rules are designed for balance, but...

    GM Problems: Table Space

Thanks! I am going to have to pick one up, the current mat just gets buried under everything. :-)

    GM Problems: Table Space

OK, that looks awesome. I am assuming (the photos are ok, but not great), the legs fold up inside? Is it large enough to hold the Pathfinder flip mats?
