    D&D 5E (2014) WotC's Jeremy Crawford on D&D Races Going Forward

It's all about the Spectacular Spider-Ham. Peter Porker ftw.

    D&D 5E (2014) WotC's Jeremy Crawford on D&D Races Going Forward

I say just use "species" instead of "race" and you solve many of the problems. Vistani are clearly modeled after the Roma people - but it definitely does fit in with the lore of the Ravenloft setting. I'm not Roma myself, so can't say for sure - but D&D human cultures are all modeled to some...

D&D 5E (2014) Is Icewind Dale: Rime of the Frostmaiden the New D&D Adventure?

Nice - I'd love to see Icewind Dale fleshed out for 5e. Hopefully there will be some reference to The Companions of the Hall, The Crystal Shard, etc.

The Plastic Ancestry of the Bulette

I owned several of these back in the day before I started playing D&D. Was able to score a bag of them on EBAY recently for around $10 and now use them in game (or did prior to quarantine). Good stuff.

The Black Dahlia Murder and D&D: An Interview

Not too meta apparently - I mean there is a Castle named after him after all - from the man himself! I fully support this hypothetical magic item. Castle Zagyg

The Black Dahlia Murder and D&D: An Interview

As far as fantasy inspired metal goes - it doesn't get any better (or worse depending on your tastes/perspective) than Dragonforce. Their latest album even features a Skyrim track. Dragons, warriors, wizards etc can be found in most of their tunes.

The Black Dahlia Murder and D&D: An Interview

You realize that Ozzy started his music career in 1967... when the Beatles were still quite active as a band right?

Onyx Path Cancels LegendLore Kickstarter Partway Through Citing COVID-19

The video game industry is doing just fine... in fact it is flourishing right now. This is no surprise as we saw a similar situation during the 2008 recession. Gaming Usage Up 75 Percent Amid Coronavirus Outbreak As for the Onyx Path thing... I agree with what others have stated that this...

When Pandemic Isn't Just a Game

I've played 3 games online using Roll20 and Discord since all of this went down. It worked just fine.

D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

That may have actually been where I read about it.

D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

I need to dig around for the link/quote, but the gorgon in D&D has an interesting history. There was a miscommunication when the original Monster Manual was being put together - so we ended up with gorgons in D&D = demonic looking metallic bull that breathes poison gas - instead of medusae...

D&D 5E (2014) Official D&D Greek-Themed 'Mythic Odysseys of Theros' Setting Coming In May

I'm in the same boat. I haven't played Magic in years but love new settings regardless of their inspiration. One of the most perplexing and irritating things I see from certain members of the hobby are statements like - "Stop rehashing old settings and give us something new" but then when that...

WotC World Reveal of Baldur's Gate 3

To your first point - I don't get it either. I am definitely not part of the younger generation that's coming into the hobby either. I loved BG1, 2, Torment, IWD, etc... but this just looks amazing. As for the second point, I felt that the tieflings looked pretty damn cool and broke that mold...

WotC World Reveal of Baldur's Gate 3

Yeah so that leaves things like ghasts, wights, and a few others I am not currently recalling which have sufficient intelligence and intact (or even enhanced) organs.

WotC World Reveal of Baldur's Gate 3

Interesting... so the flesh is just a vessel, living or dead. I wonder if that is the case? Apparently the tadpole is not suffering any ill effects.
