Well, that's one crossed off the summer blockbusters list at least. They really don't make them like they used to.

None of these seem reliably promising enough to get my vote. Mission Impossible comes closest on the strength of the franchise as a whole, but the last entry didn't impress me. Even if I were still a cinema-goer, most of these would be wait-for-streaming for me.

There are a lot of options, but the learning curve is reasonable and much of it will be very familiar if you've played D&D.

Yeah, I might do that. Currently mostly enjoying my playthrough, but really not liking the vehicular combat, which wasn't a thing last time I played. Getting to the point where I use the public transit fast-travel more than my car.

I know the feeling. Currently trying to get back into Cyberpunk 2077, weaning myself off my favoured hacker play style in favour of a more stealth / agility build. Just getting to the end of the prologue. At this point it's probably worth holding out for the enhanced edition in a couple of years.

But also a lot of parodies of that material. That ground's a lot more well-trodden than it was back then.

I just can't get along with that cut-off saucer section. Makes it look half-finished.

The worst part of that is when they're doing connected series. You wind up having to choose between wading through the dross or missing parts of the story.

That part gives it some distinctly Bioshock Infinite vibes.
