If you're a caster, you better watch out for mobs of mooks. In the right situation, they can overbear and grapple you to the ground. 8th level sorceror in my game got jumped by a village of commoners. He hesitated on blowing them up and almost got grappled and killed. Cracked me up :)

A mean punishment would be to require the troublemakers to capture a few creatures for the menagerie as restituition for thier crime. Who better to catch livestock than a totem warrior?

I really think this scene is in the EE. If you watch one of the trailers that they are showing on tv, you see Eomer on his knees crying and screaming. I don't remember this scene actually being in the film. It could be him grieving over the "death" of Eowyn or Theoden.

I have to see it a second time. Im always too busy trying to find the books in the first viewings. Its hard to enjoy the film for what it is when Im looking to see what they left out or changed.

I would disagree with the order, but I think you definitely got the teary sections. The fall of Boromir is still the one that gets me the most, closely followed by Aragorn the King bowing to the hobbits.

I can't see any NPC submitting to magic being cast on them unless they trust the caster. How does he know that his mind is being read? What if the caster is casting a curse on him? What if it will hurt? NPCs aren't simply going to roll over submit to whatever spells the caster wants to cast...
