    Transmute Rock to Mud questions

Well, I guess it doesn't really matter all that much, because at that level, you could probably topple the castle simply as a Huge Elemental. When I was thinking of this idea, I was thinking of Elementals in the Shadowrun sense, being able to easily move through thier element, much like fish in...

    Scrying

I would say no as well. Scrying is already powerful as it is, giving another player the ability to use the scrying focus as well would be a bit too much imho.

    Transmute Rock to Mud questions

"Castles and large stone buildings are generally immune to the effects of the spell, since transmute rock to mud can’t affect worked stone and doesn’t reach deep enough to undermine such buildings’ foundations. However, small buildings or structures often rest upon foundations shallow enough to...

What was your first PC's name?

Alva Shadowflight...Drow Thief from AD&D. Of course it was munchkin game from hell (we were 12), he managed to get a wish and became a human (just like Gord, who I was reading about at the same time) :) edit: Just remembered his correct last name

    Regarding Druid Animal Companions

Well, the wolverine isnt mindless, he's just your pet. He would definitely defend himself if you wanted to eat him. You would probably be better off letting the wolverine kill the cleric and then eating him to survive. :)

    Regarding Druid Animal Companions

hehe...if your cleric thinks it bad now, just wait till the druid gets animal growth. My gnoll druid summoned three dire apes (Summon Nature Ally 5) and animal growthed em, the rest of the party just sat back and watched the apes rip up the opposition. My animal companion is an awakened Dire...

Realmstalk (if you love it or hate it come on in)

I agree and like those aspects from Greenwood's contributions, but sometimes I really wish he would lay off the hippy love-fests the Seven Sisters are jumping in. I love porn as much as the next guy, but I try to seperate it from my gaming, since all the players at my table are guys. :) Dark...

    Who remembers SnarfQuest? (:

I have the Snarfquest graphic novel and read it time to time. I love that strip. Has the d20 supplements come out yet? edit-Answered that myself. I am so going to buy that supplement :) Can't wait to introduce Gagglezoomers to my campaign. :)

    Dungeon #97/Polyhedron #156

Darn, when I saw V is for Victory, I was sorta hoping it was based on the 80s mini-series "V" :)

    What's Hell Like?

Its lit by flourescent lights and has little cubicles. The damned souls are stuck staring at shiny boxes while talking to other damned souls on wires attached to thier head. "No ma'am. That's not a cup-holder, its your cd-rom drive"

    The Death of Eliminster

Heh, it looks like most of that is going to be offstage now. I dont want the players have to deal with that, just with protecting the smallfolk.

    The Death of Eliminster

wonderful idea Great Idea Evil Pheemy...writing it down as we speak. Keeps the focus on the players and less on the big npcs.

    The Death of Eliminster

This is more of what I had in mind when I came up with this idea. I wanted to use the Heartlands as the focus of the campaign but was really bothered by the fact that all these major heroes are running around. It bugged me on a subconscious level, like, "why doesnt the big goods do something...

    The Death of Eliminster

That's a good point Lord Zardoz. My thinking is the players will a bit player in the Flight of Dragons part of it, but the heroes when it comes to getting the townsfolk home. The Flight of Dragons will contain more than just great wyrms, Im thinking maybe 3-5 of those at most and the rest are...

    The Death of Eliminster

Reading my comments over and bubbling it in my head, Im thinking most of the fighting will be off-stage, after the PCs and townsfolk are Plane-shifted. I just need to make the first few rounds believable.

    The Death of Eliminster

Well, the name of the campaign is Harping while the world burns....so I guess that is what Im wanting. Its been a while since Ive read FR literature, so bear with me. My guess is the Zhents are going to jump on it, moving troops southwards immediately. Cormyr is going to send troops north, to...

    The Death of Eliminster

Well, I dont have Eliminster's stats on hand. I think his stats were published in the FRCS, but that was before the Epic Levels book. I'm not sure if Eliminister is actually going to be dead or not, Im thinking he may survive, due to Mystra's grace or something, but his presence in Faerun will...

    The Death of Eliminster

Ok, Ive got a new campaign opening up in a few weeks. The players are all going to be 7th level and members of the Harpers. The opening of the game is going to be a big blow-out, with a Flight of Dragons coming through a rift above Shadowdale and attacking Elminister, much like the Death of...

Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers ENworld reviews & discussion (SPOILERS)

That's ok. In the next one, the Witchking's spirit gets to come back to Sauron and say, "But master, they had a woman and hobbits with swords!" All the while, the other Nazgul are whispering, "Hehe...he got killed by a chick!" :)
