Of course it will, I know people have endlessly debated this here, but it was successful enough to impress paramount and of course they will want to push forward a sequel that they think they can make even MORE money on.

Cool, thx for clarifying. The characters in Shadowdark seem SOMEWHAT more survivable at least :) I hope converting a hex crawl from one OSR game to another OSR system isn’t too tricky.

Been playing through the early access with a gnome archer ranger who hangs out with his bear pal, and boy does this game feel like how I always imagined DnD to be. I cannot wait for release.

The hand waving away of the criminal nature of what is going on here is going to look real silly once these lawsuits really get going. AI art is ultimately an infringing, derivative work stolen from the labor of others. It’s theft.

The musical analogy doesn’t work in this regard I’m afraid. In this instance, what we are dealing with is theft. No acknowledgment of original artists. No recognition of original artists. No financial recompense of original artists. AI art is theft.

I’m glad that you find that this works for you. It does not work for me. I find it a miserable process, and so don’t pursue it.
