Hehe a burning sign reading FLAN? That is evil advertisement:)
On a lesser note, go Elan! Time to see what Tarquin can do in combat. I am hoping for a sneak attack by Haley. But could this actually postpone the gladiatorial combat?
A three-way con that maintains the status quo over a region prone to war? Is this the middle east?

Both Dungeon and Dragon end up on the popular download sites within minutes of release (heck earlier on, even individual articles could be found this fast). The same with the Character Builder updates.
I found it tacky and certainly a put-off. I find the Essentials campaign itself tacky as well. Attend Ye Gods? I thought the marketing department of MtG was worse (Infinite ways to say here I rule? Are you frickin kidding me?) but I guess they either share personel or are competing.
Are people having such a hard time making toons without the CB? I understand being indignant about the delay for a feature you paid for, I share the feeling. But I can make toons with paper and pencil very easily in 4E.
I don't know if they should be publishing more books. I played and bought FR heavily in the past and often I was wondering why the 3E and 3.5 books often got good reviews. I've seen many people rave about the Shining South for instance. Well surprise 30% is a reprint! The regional books of 3.5...
Unearthed Arcana. Give me a sec to dig it up and I'll get you the details.
Here we go. PG 57: Domain Wizard. Essentially you pick a wizard domain (from those described there) and gain one additional spell per spell level which must be the domain spell (each domain is a thematic collection of...
I think the major issue is glut. I blame the system tbh. We already have too many powers as it is, many of them being nearly identical across classes. The same goes for feats. Magic items are not that many but then again they are pretty boring in 4E. And the thing that drives me mad is that all...
Fluff with no real direction, pointless crunch in a system that in my opinion is already swamped. I appreciate crunchy bits that are thematic (like last months Dark Sun articles or the one about dagger sorcerers) but most of the small articles feel pointless and just there to fill in some quota.
While there is no real PvP at my table per se, I often pit the players against other adventurers or similarly balanced teams. Those fights are very well recieved and always fun and quite challenging.
You can make things sufficiently horrible without having to kill anyone (and thus without having to make anyone immortal). Death is certainly not the worst thing that can happen to someone. Moreover perhaps the antagonist is interested in the players and would rather keep them alive, if barely...
