It seems like this is 5e's first big magic items book.

I've got all of Ashworth's "Gamemaster" line. Though not lavishly illustrated (with the exception of the Dragon one), they are excellent books. I use the NPC book all the time.

Mackenzie de Armas just threw out in a video that Annam "pulled the elemental planes from the elemental chaos." Do with that what you will.

You know, I've always thought that creatures in 5e should be able to be of two types. Like an undead/dragon, or a fiend/giant. You could have some things that are just monstrosities, and some that are monstrosities/beasts.

I think they are also pricing in the DM screen (usually $20), like they did with Spelljammer. Still a lot, though.

I enjoy twee and twee-adjacent, especially if it is blended with some darkness, fairy tale style. Wild Beyond the Witchlight is one of my favorite 5e adventures. I know Planescape is supposed to be grim, but I am looking forward to this Gaiman-esque version of Planescape with Yetis selling...

An NPC was searching for a "time dragon," (in scare quotes). The adventure implied she was being duped, and that there was no such thing. Funny that they existed after all.

It was one of the best adventures in the book. You could mix and match the order of the train cars as you please.

Incidentally, that adventure also teased "Time Dragons"

It's mainly Heroes Feast that causes confusion at my table. It's worded a little ambiguously, but it seems to only protect from the poisoned condition. Also, Necklace of Adaptation off the top of my head.

My players get confused all the time. Especially whether they are immune to poison damage, or the poisoned condition.

I think that the Ranger's biggest flaw is that their Class features require spell slots. Especially since their spell slots are so limited, and hey, there's actual spells the Ranger wants to use. Hunter's Mark just needs to be a Ranger ability you can use Prof times per day. And the Hunter...
