A Review Of Advanced Lovers & Lesbians

I'm just not a fan of the PbtA system, though I did snag the Thirsty Sword Lesbians RPG because they did such a wonderful job laying it out and with great art work. I wish more books were done in the way that book was. It's easy to read. So to support them I'll snag the book as well.

A good riff on Tom Stoppard's Rozenkrantz and Guildenstern are Dead. :)

Review of Twilight: 2000: You’re on Your Own, Good Luck

I could make comparisons to a lot of things related to playing tabletop rpgs that might/could appear to be insensitive to someone. It's a slippery slope and I could make the debate across the board for many many ways that someone could be offended by something in any tabletop rpg. I think the...

Review of Twilight: 2000: You’re on Your Own, Good Luck

Yep, that was my point of view and I'm of a similar age and served as a recon scout on the West/East German and Czech border for about a decade in the 1980s and into the 1990's when the wall went down.

    Dragon Reflections #52

I loved it, it was years ahead of its time honestly. It proved very useful to me along with the book series as reference to set up my long campaign that I ran it with. Remember I was using Palladium Fantasy and then GURPS which the books didn't cover and I found it highly useful. I drew maps of...

    Dragon Reflections #52

Yup, a big fan of C.J Cherryh and i'll strongly agree with you that she should have more recognition than she does today. Also huge fan of Thieves' World box set and books. I had a long running campaign I ran with it from the time Chaosium released it until the late 1990s, first with Palladium...

Review of Twilight: 2000: You’re on Your Own, Good Luck

That's a good point the M-16 effective range is better than the AK-74 by nice bit, as is the maximum range as well. Though the effective range is the important number.

D&D 5E (2014) Changes to D&D's Spellcasting Monsters: Streamlining Your Way To Bliss

Not if you want to be a part of The Adventurer's League and the ease of finding groups that use that. All these changes do impact that play.

D&D 5E (2014) Changes to D&D's Spellcasting Monsters: Streamlining Your Way To Bliss

You know, when 5e first came out I was really impressed with it. I liked how flexible it appeared and streamlined among other things. The on going changes and focuses that they've been doing in the last year plus though is making it clear to me that 5e really is no longer for me. (sigh) Guess...

Review of Twilight: 2000: You’re on Your Own, Good Luck

@HorusZA @MGibster I'll agree that the scrounging tables and information feel a bit lacking. I'd honestly just use them as a baseline and then build upon it depending on the area. In the end I think they gave us good ideas and then it's up to us to build upon them as needed. I'd design...

I'm not the best at figuring out the maths in the way you listed so I was really curious since the item dice can have a serious impact on the successes. :)

You're speaking about the individual whereas Lewis is speaking about the group. This is after all more focused on world design.

The Black Hack Boxed Set Offers (Almost) Everything You Need For An Excellent Hexcrawl

Not a fan that I have to buy the physical product in one location and then the pdf in another. :/ Also since the price was in pounds I'll assume it's shipping from the UK? Which adds another issue due to shipping issuses currently. Ah well.
