Not really, I just don't want to deal with them. :) We still play 1e once a month or so along with Pathfinder. I have a lot of experience with them in regular 1e campaigns (playing alongside not DMing) its just with the hassle of running illusions. Our old 1e DM had no problem letting people...

We have used 2d6+6 a few times and like it.

We play pretty much Core PF (just the main rule book) only for character creation and I like it better that way.

When we take the Feat we are not allowed to bring cohorts to the table. We use them for keeps, businesses, and other things of that nature.

I like XP for treasure and still use it in my 1e/2e game but all the XP goes into the pot with monster XP.

They are pretty much 95% inter changeable, and yes 1e does have ThACo. Back of the DMG. Monsters, items, spells, classes, and adventures can be used in either.

Thread necro. I like the game but I really only play PF and RUN 1e AD&D. I have never had that problem with magic users so I dont see that being a problem in B&T either.

Actually Village of Hommlet T1 is COMPLETE in ToEE.

I am running T1-4 right now in 1e with my group, they have almost sacked the top level of the Temple. I have played the Return in 3e several years ago and its ok, it just draaaaags on.

I also tend to roll them when the party is trying to search several times for secret doors even when told they dont find any.
