    #6 Revelations release date!

I ask because I wonder whether my custom faction might have more success without the other poll options prejudicing the other respondents. ;) (Yeah, the second poll. I'm looking at concepts for Dame Constance for my Grand Design Kickstarter contribution.)

    #6 Revelations release date!

Unrelated question: I didn't miss the follow-up subscriber/backer-only villainous conspiracy poll, did I? That hasn't happened yet, right? Added: Also, RW, I've got descriptions from all but one of my players. I'll be in touch soon.

    D&D 4E Questions for my very first 4E Character/Adventure.

To wield two weapons effectively, you need to take powers that use them. Twin Strike is the obvious level 1 candidate. Rangers have pretty robust dual wielding support, since it's one of their signature features. You probably also want to take the Two-Blade Style or Marauder Style class feature...

ZEITGEIST The Flint Irregulars, whose portraits you may have seen

Thanks! We use 1.3b86. We've had one session since I last posted, but it was mostly spent on planning our upcoming August get-together. I have a lot of prep to do before then so I'll be ready to run at least the rest of Digging for Lies live! We'll see how that goes . After some discussion...

D&D 4E Economy of Inherent Bonuses

I like it, and don't really see any issues with it. It's a good explanation for why characters can have incredible magical powers and yet no one can create a +1 dagger.

    ZEITGEIST ZEITGEIST hardcover compilation Kickstarter

The 200 backers goal was achieved, so I believe a goat will be sacrificed to sanctify EN Publishing against further misfortune.

D&D 4E Economy of Inherent Bonuses

It isn't an issue for 4E from a mechanics perspective. From a narrative perspective, you'll need to design the setting to account for it in a way that makes sense.

D&D 4E Economy of Inherent Bonuses

It depends on whether you want them to be able to buy magic items at all. If you leave items or alternative rewards in the game on a limited basis and allow purchases in some circumstances (e.g. save up gold to buy training time from a grandmaster), then presumably you want the PCs to be able to...

That seems to have been the tipping point -- you've broken the $19k barrier.

That's some thread necromancy right there.

Fantastic cover art by Claudio Pozas

Looks to me like they're PCs -- RHC constables. That's a balcony, and the railing has blood on it, so I bet it's the Danoran embassy. IIRC, RangerWickett ran the first few adventures, and his party has a pixie in it, so maybe it's PCs from his game.

    Okay, that cover is badass.

You're a villain. How would you change the world? Contest with prizes. (Spoilers for ZEITGEIST)

People seem to be intrigued by the MAP. Perhaps it could be incorporated into the secret poll? :D Pyre + Panarchists is still not a straight-up majority, but if MAP is a separate option, the Pyre, Panarchist, and Arboretum members who can accept the MAP's tradeoffs can vote for it directly. I...

FYI, Leone Quital is the leader of the Watchmaker faction. But yeah, this is basically why I called the Ob "well-intentioned villainy." Convinced that the ends justify the means, they undertake horrific acts like the witchoil experiments, all in the service of what they see as a better world...

Constance, who has been writing rapidly in a tidy hand ever since sitting down, finally sets down her stylus and rises again. "As I look and listen to you, fellow planners and dreamers, I see many common traits: conviction, passion, logic, cunning, understanding. These traits, while common to...

Oh, okay. Then I retract and apologize. When I'm not explicitly the writing as a character, I'm writing as myself and making my own actual arguments - which may differ from those I put in the mouths of characters.
