What videogames are you playing in 2026?

For the record, i just reloaded Skyrim. I actually have not played a vanilla run since the Anniversary Edition dropped, so it should entertain me for a while anyway.

Who Should Make The Next Star Wars TTRPG, And What Should It Look Like?

No license deal lasts forever. Also, if the money is right I don't see why they would not sub out the TTRPG. That is to say, if someone is willing to pay more than they would make from selling reprints. Which i can't imagine would be difficult.

What videogames are you playing in 2026?

I was under the impression that GoS was a souls like?

What videogames are you playing in 2026?

At this point I am trying to see if there is a wabbajack modlist for Skyrim SE that gives me what I am looking for without making me slof through the same old Skyrim.

What is "railroading" to you (as a player)?

That is refreshing. I would have been happy in this campaign if when i pitched the "player driven open world" they would have responded with "no thanks; give us the plot". But alas.

What is "railroading" to you (as a player)?

Or we could just continue the argument no matter what.

Who Should Make The Next Star Wars TTRPG, And What Should It Look Like?

Sure. All I said is that Star Wars would be okay with a few books and robust support for GM creations.

Pineapple Express: Someone Is Wrong on the Internet?

You know, making it so I am no longer required to see your posts is not the punishment you think it is.

Who Should Make The Next Star Wars TTRPG, And What Should It Look Like?

All I know is that the games on my shelf that have one or just a few books tend to get more use than ones (like D&D) where I have a whole library.

What is "railroading" to you (as a player)?

I think that as long as we can suss out what folks mean when they use a term, even if we personally disagree with that definition, we should just discuss the point, not the terminology.

    Crows Officially Announced by MCDM

Again, I am just guessing based on the post, but it sounds like there is supposed to generous gear, and since gear can be utilized by anyone, going "one more room" to get that gear is a viable choice because it might kind of be a boost without a rest, if that makes sense. Like I said, I am just...

Who Should Make The Next Star Wars TTRPG, And What Should It Look Like?

I can't help how you feel or infer my meaning. If you don't like the term "intrusion" take it up with Monte Cook games. If you don't like the term "jive" take it up with Airplane.

What is "railroading" to you (as a player)?

I think it is clear from this thread, there is more nuance in the definition than you are suggesting. But that is kind of a circular argument, so let me just repeat: I acknowledge that the standard definition is largely negative, and that is way I use alternate terminology. And yes, I could...

I don't know why my preferences about the game I play would make you feel that way, but okay.

    Daggerheart General Thread [+]

On Incredible Creatures vs Menagerie of Mayhem: I was going through both in search of adversaries and environments for my DH game, and I think Incredible Creatures is the superior product. I would love it is MoM was longer, but even ignoring that, the ideas in IC are cooler IMO.
