I'd be 100% behind this. I kinda dislike Spelljamming and the NEO soundtracks since most of the songs have lyrics, which doesn't make them good background music for games. I wish Wizards would produce something like the original D&D soundtrack made by Midnight Syndicate... That soundtrack formed...

To be fair, they did create a soundtrack for Spelljammer, and it was pretty nice. The Magic side of WotC also does this from time to time, since they made a special soundtrack for the Kamigawa: Neon Dynasty set.

Yeah, I think this is a simple solution. WotC was saying that they have multiple books being developed simultaneously at any given moment, and they could simply make sure the tie-in books are slotted in to the relevant release dates, and release other stuff in the menatime.
