5E's K.I.S.S. approach seems to stretch to even class designing. Spells are already there. Anything super fancy has "got to be" magic. Hence, time/energy/simplicity is already there by just GTAing a spell and calling it a day.

Pretty much, it's a Fighter schtick to not completely invalidate them.

Thank goodness we allow a Mulligan Roll for one stat after the initial roll up. Rolls a 4 on the Mulligan Me:

Normally, roll the Standard 4D6, with 1 free Mulligan roll. However, two weeks ago, I rolled the Standard 4D6, with 1 free Mulligan roll using this: Been wanting a Dice Tower for a while now. I love it! And hey, the rolls with it for stats turned out VERY well too.

I came REAL CLOSE to backing that due to Red Opera and I'm glad I didn't at the time.
