D&D General Melf's Guide to Greyhawk Coming From Luke Gygax & WotC

I'm hoping for an actual stat block for Iuz, so a DM doesn't have to use the CR 5 Cambion from the MM. And this does sound exciting! I'm happy for Luke Gygax, to be able to take part in this!!

D&D 5E (2014) SCAG Error: Imaskari names are actually Durpari!

So I did some Google-Fu, and I found these names for the Imaskari, unsure how accurate this is though. These almost seem ... Navajo? Whereas the Durpari names are clearly South Asian to my eyes.

D&D 5E (2014) SCAG Error: Imaskari names are actually Durpari!

That's very possible! I just know thar Datharathi is a specifically named Durpari family, which made me wonder. Thanks!!

D&D 5E (2014) SCAG Error: Imaskari names are actually Durpari!

I've been doing a deep dive into the world of Faerûn as of late, and while flipping through the Sword Coast Adventurer's Guide today, I discovered a probable error. The names listed for the Imaskari names are actually Durpari names! Datharathi, which first noticed, is definitely Durpari...

Ravenloft: The Horrors Within Announced, Release Date Scheduled for June 2026

I don't see anywhere if there's early release for Friendly Local Game Stores or not for this title? I hope there is, that is such a cool thing that WoTC does.

D&D General You Can Now Get Mike Schley's Official Map of Faerûn

I just noticed a lil detail on the map of Chult. Whereas Tomb of Annihilation had the Hvalspyd indicated on the map (), the new map has "Wreck of the Hvalspyd" on it!

    D&D 5E (2024) Cthulhu Confirmed!

Cthulhu has masculine energy, from my point of view. I don't know why!

    D&D General D&D memes thread discussion…

Replying to the "black dragons make beaver lodges" post: I live close to a town named Beaverlodge, and that's where my mind went to immediately. [Edit: I don't actually know how to crosspost between threads... Sorry!]

Understandable! While I'm on the fence about Cthulhu in D&D, I do understand your point of view here. I like both D&D and Lovecraft, but I also like Godzilla, for example, and while a reference in some way to the Kaiju genre in a 5e book is cool (we've seen some of it so far!), having actual...

Check Out This Early Ravenloft: The Horrors Within Artwork

I ADORE monsters that are incomprehensible and not evil. Entities that are so beyond our understanding of morality that the concept of evil fails to work for them. It's difficult to pull off in D&D given the alignment system, but when it does, I love it. The potential uses of the Great Race of...

Gotta love the Erol Otus art in that book! His depictions of Lovecraftian entities are some of my favourites.
