    9 players. Help.

A really efficient DM can handle this singlehandedly. First off, delegate duties to your players. Have one maintain and call initiative. Have one keep a journal and don't be afraid to borrow it to cross reference (you will have holes in your notes that this will be an invaluable resource in...

    Castles & Crusades: Player's Handbook

Hey Joe, Akrasia. I talked with Steve over at Troll Lord today and he says we are looking at a early to mid January release on the 2nd printing.

I just downloaded the entire file with Firefox without any problems.

Which non-core monsters should have been core?

I was hoping the Mountain Giant would be in there. Also, like Diaglo, I would like to see some of the fungii relegated back to creatures instead of hazards.

Games you were turned off of and why

I never could get the general feel of WoD stuff, particularly V: TM. I bought it, read it, and even tried to run it once, but I guess we weren't pissed off at the world enough to play properly. It's still sitting on a shelf around here someplace. WEG Star Wars. Not my cup of tea, mainly because...

    WHFRP2 Sigmar's Heirs

Sigmar's Heirs is a valuable resource, IMO. It has tons of good data for any Empire-based adventuring. What I cant find there, I find online or in my subscription to warpstone. Years and years of gaming goodness crammed in those few pages. I would recommend it, editing gaffs aside.

    Best Planar books?

If you are looking for something that is currently in print, I recommend Beyond Countless Doorways. It's got some really good stuff in there.

    Os X Map software?

I usually use Photoshop CS2 for my maps, but I have a friend that uses Dundjinni and says it works well for his game. We are both using Powerbooks, mine is a 1.5ghz and his is 1.33 IIRC.

Good Rules for Creating Random Dungeons

My copy of Central Casting: Dungeons is still one of the most heavily used of my books after owning it for, damn, I dont know how many years. Unfortunately, it is almost completely worn out at this point. When the pages start falling out I am going to have to scan it to PDF to maintain a copy...

    True 20 Fantasy

Good luck with your game, Akrasia! I am currently in the middle phase of a planned True20 game. It will be modern, special ops type stuff. I thought about starting with Spycraft 2.0, but the sheer vastness of the rules in that compendium is daunting for a one or two-off game. I'm not even sure...

    True 20 Fantasy

Hey Akrasia, did you ever get a group together there in Ireland? If so, which game are you starting off with?

    Traveller or Star Frontiers?

Pretty sure they had a version for the Commodore 64 too way back when.

    GURPS-Share your thoughts

If a table top RPG plays like a video game, I'd rather go play one.

    Would YOU play AD&D 2e?

Yes. With a good GM and other good players, I would play 2e. I would even *run* a 2e game if my group generated enough interest in it.
