    Paranoia XP- Experiences?

Tomorrow I start a Paranoia XP game for some friends, and while I'm pretty confident as to how I'm going to run the game (I've had D&D games stray towards Paranoia terrirtory before, mostly when I wad first DMing), I'd still like to hear other's advice/opinions. What do you think of Paranoia XP...

    Next Ceramic DM?

And BSF still runs a great gaming session every week. Too bad I'll miss most of them over the summer... Not sure if I'l be in for the next Ceramic DM, since my new job affords me considerably less slacking time then my old one, but I'll reconsider when sign up starts. As for the collected PDF...

    Experience Allocations

I like the idea of seperate xp, especially since the magic of the internet lets us keep roleplay going as whichever characters aren't being played. I don't mind terribly if we split xp, especially if there's some kind of limit (maybe no more then a third of the xp from a given session can go to...

If you've seen it, what did you think? Any general opinions?

Only problem is, the mechanic doesn't directly translate. But we'll talk.

The Hitchhicker's Guide to the Dungeon

The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Dungeon has this to say about Nymphs: Good Luck. The Guide also notes that there is standing reward of 5,000 gp for a live nymph to facilitate 'expanding' the entry.

    Surprisingly Useful Spells

I saw this thread on surprisinlgy useful items, and I was thinking: are there any spells that seem fairly mundane, but can really save your butt? In particular non-damage spells that can make a huge difference... The first thing that comes to my mind is Grease. I had never really appreicated...

    Hitting the high seas

Does that mean Loa's Grace is a useable feat? If that hasn't been decided (or if it's not useable) I actually need 2. I'll figure those out sometime tonight, hopefully.

    Chaka Dembe ka Ora

I shoudl also note that Chaka's home culture is a vague mix of Pygmy culture, zulu traditions, New Zealand Mauri culture and voodoo religion. If anybody else needs to fill in things on/around Bron Ange (Chaka's home) those are all great sources to draw from.

    Hitting the high seas

Character sent via email. Could be some mistakes, I'm running on fairly little sleep (about to go sleep for a beautiful few hours and make up for that), but it should get the idea across.

Acquana's Art Thread -- Closed, New Thread Started

Digging the super heros. I may have to use those for NPCs and run a M&M game this summer...

    Hitting the high seas

I should be good for this Friday, I have my character background posted (obviously) and my character sheet should be done today, at which point I'll either summarize it in an email or just scan it.

    Hitting the high seas

The info on my character can be found in his CAG thread, along with the story of how he became known. Comments are welcome. If anymore info on Chaka is needed, just tell me. I should finish stating him out tonight, and his background is pretty much set as of now.

    Chaka Dembe ka Ora

Whew. Had a little trouble with the story, but I wanted to get that out. I don't really like how the writing turned out, but the general story (Chaka is chasing after a lost ship that held a man with a loa inside and he's famous for the horrible 'pranks' he pulled on the Cahrming Mary) is good...

    Chaka Dembe ka Ora

I'm going to start out with some backstory on how Chaka came to be who he is: Chaka stretched out his wings and tried to learn to fly. His form was a gift from Ghede, but the knowledge of how to fly was not part of the form of a bird. The slaver's ship cut through the waves ahead and Chaka...

    Character Philosophies

My old PC: A samurai who lost hope in an endless fight against the yuan-ti and ran away to the 'west' only to have a series of in-game events restore his faith in the ancient ways. He was training and gathering forces to go and destroy the Yuan-ti one day. That is until some goblins (actually...

    Monkey Familiars

Having talked with my Dm a bit more, and with some of the advcie from this thread, we're probably going with +3 Balance. Thanks for the advice, and I'm still open to suggestions of good books on familiars or specific stuff for monkey familiars.

    Paranoia Flashbacks - Out Now!

Ooooooooooohhhhh. More Paranoia goodness. Paranoia Xp is great ( I haven't read any earlier editions), so I'll be picking this up. :)

    Hitting the high seas

My character, Chaka Dembe ka Ora, is the lucky charm. Most of the crew calls him Omen, Lucky, Charm, Juju, or anything else concerning luck. He doesn't mind these names horribly (except Charm, which he isn't fond of), but he always refers to himself by his native name. A good way to get on his...
