Apologies for the late reply! I actually was googling what the Blade Kingdoms were because I had saw the label on the map and didn't know what they were. My understanding is that they're sorta Renaissance Italy-style city states of Intrigue?- TravDoc42

That is understandable! I just think it is slightly odd to mention a nation with no explanation about it. It's not the only weird thing like that in these books, either. It has a stat block for Karas Chembryl, daughter of Fzoul Chembryl... but doesn't explain who Fzoul is.- TravDoc42

Update: I forgot that Adventures in Faerûn mentions Halruaa and their skyships! There's a "Skyship's Glade" in Calimshan, and it mentions that Halruaan skyships dock here... but doesn't mention anything about Halruaa. Odd choice, makes me wonder if they cut some regions in the editing process?- TravDoc42
