I made a non-gestalt bardbarian, and he was a gnome. Actually turned out to be an okay character, and fun to play.

Arden creeps forward, hugging the wall, listening to try to determine what's going on in the darkness. (move silently - double move half speed forward along the wall)

Arden nods and says quietly, "I'll let you guys parlay with the flapping thing. But if someone attacks, I'm attacking too." She then looks for a nice area to hide but still get a view of anything approaching.

Arden grips her crossbow, loads it and falls in behind the group, watching the back and the ceiling as they go.

Now having an idle moment, Arden finds herself arranging the farming implements and making sure that everything is in order.

As a tangent to the character ripping theme, I once played in a game and my character died. The GM insisted that I destroy my character sheet. This was my first time playing with that GM, and it took me by surprise. I didn't want to destroy the sheet, but the others said it was tradition, so...

I think it might be interesting to do them in a "last in first out" order, especially if one is in reaction to the other.

Arden loads her crossbow. "Hey, would you piercers like to parlay? No? That's a shame." She maneuvers for a better shot and tries to make sure that they aren't moving for a new tunnel. She carefully aims, trying to hit the fleshy base rather than the shell.

I had Arden attack because she was the first to go and she saw icky things moving forward with weapons. I know that there was a post there before mine saying something about not wanting trouble, but that was supposed to happen after Arden had already gone in initiative.
