All I can say is the fact that the 1st part is a sentence fragment doesn't prove to me that there aren't 10 skills, and that the word "more" does not meet the definition of "others" in my understanding of the two words.

My arguement is that the previous set of skills is all of them. Stealth, Thievery, any four skills, plus four more skills from the list.

Good point about the builds. I am hoping that they were excluding those four free-floating skills from consideration when they made the build, though. Maybe I'm being bullheaded, though.

It can go the other way too. I think this forum has its share of people who really want 4e to fail, and are always on the lookout for bad things to say about it.
