D&D 5E (2024) Here's The Covers of BOTH of November's Forgotten Realms Books

Oh shoot, I definitely missed that!! Good point!! Well, I guess that might mean two new types of dragons in the book?

That really has me thinking that it's a sneak peek of the spirit dragons they mentioned in the Game Informer article!

I think there's an amber dragon in 2e that breathes heated sap?

On a side note, is that supposed to be a green dragon? The antlers are odd. I wonder if that's a spirit dragon?

Honestly, I'd be glad with just NPC stat blocks for the saurials! Maybe add them as species in the everything books, but even just a few saurial stat blocks would make me so happy. Where did they mention Dragonbait in this book?

I could see those on your list being included for sure! A few others I can think of (although some of these may be hopeful optimism) include wemics, Beasts of Malar, spell weavers(?), and the goofy monsters that I love so much, the winged wonder.

So, if the Dalelands are being focused on, what does that mean for the Lost Dale (and the saurials within)? I don't know much about the Dalelands, to be honest. Anyone with more knowledge have any input?

D&D General Cthulhu by Torchlight Brings Mythos To D&D

Weird that this book isn't on the D&D Beyond app, at least for me. Most of the time they get it on the app as soon as a book releases.

D&D General 5 Cool Facts About the Inca and How to Use Them in D&D

I always find stuff like this so tragic. There are many cases of Indigenous Peoples expecting the very minimum of fair, equal treatment upon first contact, only to be brutally let down and slaughtered.

Any word on if the monsters have 2014 or 2024 stat blocks?

That armor and those mace heads are wicked!!

Vajra Safahr, the wizard on the cover, and Minsc (and Boo, of course), both are in the new DMG's lore glossary. I don't think Jarlaxle is, and I know Karlach isn't (although she is apparently quite beloved in BG3 communities).
